Glacial Plains with Lots of Trails

Nature’s Classroom Institute in Hartland Wisconsin is just a two hour drive from downtown Chicago, and 30 minutes Milwaukee. Our Hartland site sits on the shores of Lake Kesses with ample woodlands, wetlands and open fields to explore. The property is approximately 300 acres of wonderful woods and the Lake to explore as well as amazing prairies and meadows. With 900 feet of board walks and lookout towers.

The facility has modern accommodations mixed with an exciting learning environment. Housing is available for up to 150 students with comfortable sleeping quarters and ample bathroom facilities. The property is fully handicapped accessible. Hartland is fully winterized and offers the visiting schoolteachers their own private room as well as fully contained apartments which are available upon request
