Florida
We have two wonderful sites in Florida, our Marine Studies site in on the Gulf of Mexico, embedded in a wilderness of mangroves, in Palm Harbor. Our wetlands site is in Brooksville and has springs, creeks, lakes and endless trails.
Palm Harbor
Marine Studies on the Gulf of Mexico
NCI’s Marine site is on the Gulf of Mexico in Palm Harbor, Florida, perfectly located less than an hour from Tampa. Nestled in its own pocket of serene wildlife, the facility offers a true Marine environment waiting to be explored. Wilderness trails, salt-water beaches and Mangroves provide a comprehensive learning experience for all.
With 12 climate-controlled cabins on stilts, each housing 16 students, there is ample space for everyone to settle in while staying just a stone’s throw away from the ocean. A Marine lab can be found along the mangrove trails as well as a large dining hall and communal area. The facility is surrounded by protected lands and has a two-gate entry system. Just offshore is a private island begging to be explored.
Brooksville
Wetlands Site North of Tampa
NCI’s Wetland site is in an area of lakes, creeks and marshland just 15 minutes from the I-75 in Brooksville, Florida. At only an hour north of Tampa and less than 2 hours from Orlando, our Brooksville facility is easily accessible.
With its beautiful inviting creeks, a huge picturesque lake, expansive wilderness trails and open areas this site offers a perfect Florida Wetland experience. The Brooksville site boasts everything Central Florida has to offer in one, safe-to-explore unique area.

Rustic cabins set between two creeks and overlooking the lake provide students and teachers a fantastic place to rest after a long day of learning. Other amenities include the welcoming dining room, large swimming pool, a variety of playing fields and even an on-site farm offering the opportunity for animal husbandry.
